Both artists, Ashley Davis and Fasyntheia Sims came out of our Staten Island Urban Center Youth Leadership Development Summer Program that focused on teaching youth how to be change agents in their own neighborhoods
Ashley Davis, 18 years old, graduated from Mckee High School as a graphic design major. She is the recipient of the Brighton Heights Reformed Church Scholarship Award. Fasyntheia Sims, 17 years old, is a senior at McKee high school majoring in graphic design. As a member of the Staten Island Urban Center she will be representing youth at the Future Culture Project -a collaboration of the Design Trust For Public Space and Staten Island Arts.
