Born to a family of European and Middle Eastern artists, Lucine is very strongly rooted in the classical traditions of painting, sculpture, calligraphy as well as modern design. She has served as Artistic Director of Naregatsi Art Institute and is currently collaborating with New York Public Libraries in a project entitled Awaken the Imagination which creates window displays in an effort to bring more youth into libraries. She is also the head of LUCINE Designs which offers a unique variety of hand crafted goods which combine the inherent beauty of natural materials with evocative design to bring the consumer a unique product at a reasonable price.
