A pioneer in the graffiti world, the artist known as Hektad started in 1982 tagging NYC subways. After taking a break to focus on his family, Hektad reappeared with to lay claim to New York’s “Street Art” scene with his varied styles and sense of humor. His work has garnered massive attention from figures such as Banksy with his alleged involvement with the famed “East River Piano”.
