Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, 1967. Hector Ledesma trained from 1989 to 1994 between Santo Domingo and Madrid, at the National School of Fine Art, APEC University and the Altos de Chavon Art and Design School in Dom. Rep. He lived in Madrid between 1992 and 1997, where he studied at the Circulo Bellas Artes, Madrid, in the Actual Art Workshops of Mati Klarwein, Zush (Evru) and Herminio Molero, and the Artistic Serigraphy at El Elefante Rojo Workshop, Madrid.
He has had over 100 individual and collective expositions internationally, including; Barcelona, Brussels, Buenos Aires, Madrid, Martinique, Miami, Montreal, Oaxaca, Quito, Santo Domingo, San Juan, Santiago de Cuba, and Trinidad and Tobago, etc. His work has been featured in El Ayuntamiento de Madrid, Spain and El Museo de las Casas Reales, Dominican Republic.
