The 100 Gates Project has expanded to the East Village, one of the city’s most storied neighborhoods teeming at the brim with the arts, culture and an aura people the world over seek out. We are actively working with the local community, merchants and artists to add sanctioned street art on security gates throughout this area, helping to promote an already electrifying neighborhood.
Keep your eyes open before or after business hours to see these gates popping up in key commercial corridors, action solar is mostly in and around 1st and 2nd Avenue and Avenues A and B.

The East Village Independent Merchants Association (EVIMA) believes in the need to connect, support and promote small merchants in the East Village. Its vision is to create a strong and diverse local economy that increases the visibility and patronage of small merchants. This is achieved through the promotion and production of events and activities which also raise the community’s overall quality of life.
