BEAUTIFYING ROLL DOWN GATES IN EL BARRIO

The 100 Gates Project has expanded north within Manhattan to East Harlem, one of the borough’s most diverse and vibrant neighborhoods where we are working with the local community, merchants and artist to add sanctioned street art on security gates; adding just another layer onto the already thriving and vibrant public art landscape in East Harlem.

Get up early or stay out late to enjoy the series of murals gracing gates in East Harlem, find out this here. All of the artwork has been completed by local artists and can be found in concentrated commercial corridors, mostly along 116th Street and 125th Street.
