I am EZO CUKILLZ and I am New York City. I was raised on the cusp of Puerto Rican spiritual culture and the cynicism and spectacle of modern American city life. I studied comic books with The Ramones, The Clash and Disco as my soundtrack. It was in this matrix that my creativity took root and began to blossom. I continue on that journey exploring the world through the artistic filter of my vision by which I create my work. I have been exhibiting since 1983. Most recently I exhibited at Art Basel Miami, The Grand Palais in Paris and The Museum of the city of New York. My work has been featured in the motion pictures PINERO, MY BROTHER, DON PEYOTE and the upcoming RZA’s COCO.
